Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate HOMAG CNC routers to cut, mill, drill, and shape wood, MDF, and other materials used in furniture production.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to ensure accurate execution of the cutting and shaping processes.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed rate, and tooling to ensure the optimal production of components.
• Monitor the CNC router during operation to ensure quality and efficiency, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of HOMAG CNC routers to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished components for defects, ensuring they meet required quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, material usage, and output logs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator with HOMAG CNC routers or similar CNC machinery in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, woodworking machinery, and furniture production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
• Proficient in machine set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
