Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiboring machines to drill holes for dowels, screws, and other fasteners in wood and composite materials.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to determine hole placement and machine settings.
• Monitor machine operation, adjusting speed, pressure, and positioning to ensure accuracy and consistent product quality.
• Inspect drilled parts to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments as needed to correct any errors.
• Perform routine maintenance on the multiboring machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes to maintain optimal performance.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily output goals while ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of production, including the number of parts drilled and machine settings for reference.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs as needed.
• Ensure minimal downtime by performing basic machine adjustments and regular maintenance checks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a Multiboring Operator, CNC Operator, or in a similar role in a woodworking or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of multiboring machines, drilling techniques, and woodworking materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong focus on safety practices in machine operation.
