DESIGNER

Job Summary We are looking for a creative and technically skilled 2D/3D Designer with experience in the furniture and modular furniture industry. Key Responsibilities - Create 2D drawings and 3D designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, beds, cabinets, office furniture, sofas, and customized furniture. - Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and furniture layouts. - Develop realistic 3D models and renderings for client presentations and design approvals. - Understand client requirements, design concepts, site measurements, and space planning. - Prepare detailed furniture working drawings with accurate dimensions and specifications. - Select suitable materials, laminates, veneers, colours, textures, finishes, and hardware. - Prepare cutting details, BOM (Bill of Materials), and cut lists wherever required. - Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing, assembly, and installation. - Coordinate with production, CNC, purchase, project, and installation teams. - Modify designs according to client feedback and approved revisions. - Check measurements, clearances, hardware positions, and component dimensions before releasing drawings. - Support the production team in resolving drawing-related issues. - Maintain design files, drawings, 3D models, and project documentation. - Complete assigned design projects within the specified timelines.

Software Knowledge Required The candidate should have practical knowledge of relevant design software. - AutoCAD – 2D drafting and technical drawings. - SketchUp – 3D furniture modelling. - 3ds Max / V-Ray – realistic rendering, preferred. - Blender / Lumion – an advantage, depending on the company's workflow. - SolidWorks – an advantage for technical furniture modelling. - IMOS / Cabinet Vision / other modular furniture design software – preferred where applicable. Qualification & Experience Education: Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Product Design, or a related field preferred. Experience: 2–6 years of relevant experience in furniture design, modular furniture, kitchen and wardrobe design, or interior furniture manufacturing. Preferred Candidate: Candidates with experience in both 2D working drawings and 3D furniture visualization, along with knowledge of furniture manufacturing, will be preferred.
