FACTORY MANAGER

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to independently manage the complete factory operations of a furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for production planning and execution, manpower management, quality control, machine utilization, material management, cost control, safety, and timely delivery. Factory Operations & Production Management - Manage and supervise complete day-to-day factory operations. - Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities. Manpower & Team Management - Manage Production Managers, Supervisors, CNC Operators, Carpenters, Helpers, QC, and Maintenance teams. - Allocate manpower according to production requirements and employee capabilities. Quality Management - Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. - Monitor quality at every manufacturing stage. Material & Inventory Management - Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Planning, and Production departments. - Ensure timely availability of MDF, plywood, particle board, HDHMR, laminates, veneers, hardware, and other materials. Machinery & Maintenance - Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of production machinery. - Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Cost Control & Productivity Improvement - Monitor manufacturing costs, labour costs, material consumption, and overheads. - Implement cost reduction measures without compromising quality. Dispatch & Delivery Management - Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Packing, Logistics, and Installation teams. - Ensure finished products are packed correctly and dispatched on schedule.

Qualification & Experience Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Furniture Technology, or a related field preferred. Experience: 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in modular furniture, panel furniture, or sofa manufacturing, including significant experience managing factory operations. Preferred Candidate: Someone who has independently handled complete factory operations and managed multiple production departments, manpower, machinery, quality, inventory, and dispatch.
