Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Panel Saw Operator to operate and manage panel cutting operations for modular furniture production. Key Responsibilities - Operate Panel Saw / Sliding Table Panel Saw safely and efficiently. - Read and understand Cut Lists, BOMs, drawings and production specifications. - Perform accurate cutting of MDF, plywood, particle board, HDHMR, laminates and other furniture panels. - Set cutting dimensions according to the required sizes and specifications. - Check panel dimensions before and after cutting. - Ensure accurate length, width and squareness of every cut panel. - Follow production schedules and achieve daily cutting targets. - Optimize cutting patterns to minimize material wastage. - Check raw materials for defects, damage and quality issues before cutting. - Maintain proper identification and labeling of cut components. - Coordinate with the Production Supervisor, CNC Operator, Edge Banding Operator and Assembly Team. - Ensure cut components are properly stacked and transferred to the next production process. - Perform regular cleaning and basic maintenance of the machine. - Check and maintain saw blades, guides, fences and other machine components. - Report machine breakdowns or technical issues to the maintenance team. - Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements

Machine Experience Experience with any of the following will be an advantage: - Sliding Table Panel Saw - Beam Saw - Automatic Panel Saw - Homag Beam Saw - Altendorf Panel Saw - SCM Panel Saw - Biesse Panel Saw - Other CNC/automatic panel cutting machines Technical Skills Required - Good knowledge of panel cutting and furniture manufacturing processes. - Ability to accurately read Cut Lists and production drawings. - Knowledge of panel thicknesses and material specifications. - Good understanding of cutting dimensions and tolerances. Education & Experience Education: ITI / Diploma preferred, but relevant practical experience can be considered. Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Panel Saw Operator in modular furniture, kitchen, wardrobe, interior or panel furniture manufacturing.
