Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Modular Carpenter with hands-on experience in modular furniture manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, cabinets, beds, and other modular furniture.
- Read and understand furniture drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation instructions.
- Perform cutting, drilling, fitting, alignment, and assembly work as required.
- Install furniture panels, shutters, drawers, shelves, and internal partitions.
- Fit and adjust furniture hardware, including hinges, drawer channels, handles, connectors, and soft-close systems.
- Carry out on-site furniture installation according to approved designs and dimensions.
- Perform edge trimming, minor adjustments, and finishing work wherever required.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, squareness, and gap consistency of shutters and drawers.
- Handle materials such as MDF, plywood, particle board, HDHMR, laminates, and pre-laminated boards.
- Use carpentry tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Check the quality and accuracy of furniture components before assembly.
- Identify damaged or defective components and report them to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with designers, production teams, site supervisors, and installation teams.
- Ensure proper handling of furniture materials to avoid scratches, breakage, and wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the factory or installation site.
- Complete assigned work within the given timeline while maintaining quality standards.
- Resolve minor fitting and installation issues at customer sites.

5. Qualification & Experience
Education: ITI in Carpentry / Furniture Making or relevant technical training preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in modular furniture manufacturing, assembly, or installation.
Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture, and customized interior furniture will be preferred.
