Job Description

• Set up and operate SCM beam saws to cut materials as per work orders.

• Read and interpret cutting lists, technical drawings, and production schedules.

• Adjust machine settings for optimal cutting performance and accuracy.

• Monitor saw operation to detect issues and make necessary adjustments.

• Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.

• Perform routine maintenance on beam saw equipment and replace blades as needed.

• Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.

• Coordinate with production teams to optimize material usage and minimize waste.
