Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers (carpenters, upholsterers, machinists, etc.) on the shop floor.

• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing targets.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards at each stage of the production process.

• Assign tasks and manage manpower across different sections of the floor.

• Ensure that machines and tools are used properly and maintained in good condition.

• Train new workers on processes, safety protocols, and machinery handling.

• Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks affecting productivity.

• Maintain inventory of raw materials and request replenishments as needed.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the shop floor.

• Maintain daily production reports and escalate issues to the Production Manager when necessary.
