Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solid Wood Carpenter to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with solid wood materials and will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing high-quality wooden furniture pieces. As a Solid Wood Carpenter, you will play a vital role in ensuring precision, craftsmanship, and durability in every furniture item produced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine material requirements and cutting patterns for solid wood furniture.
• Cut, shape, and assemble solid wood components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Install hardware, including hinges, locks, handles, and drawer systems, to complete high-quality furniture pieces.
• Sand, stain, and finish solid wood furniture to achieve a smooth, polished finish with long-lasting durability.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, quality, and consistency to meet high standards.
• Maintain tools and woodworking equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to industry best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet furniture production deadlines and ensure quality control.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solid Wood Carpenter in the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of solid wood woodworking, including techniques for cutting, shaping, and finishing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality wooden furniture.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and equipment maintenance.
