Job Description

• Develop creative and functional furniture designs based on client requirements and market trends.

• Create technical drawings, 3D models, and production blueprints for manufacturing.

• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each design.

• Work closely with carpenters, engineers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and quality.

• Research and incorporate new materials, construction techniques, and design trends.

• Modify and refine existing designs to improve aesthetics and functionality.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, ergonomics, and durability requirements.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to customize furniture pieces.

• Maintain design documentation, including material specifications and cost estimates.

• Proven experience as a Furniture Designer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Rhino.

• Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques.

• Ability to create parametric designs and technical production drawings.

• Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
