Job Description

The Interior Designer is responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing indoor spaces. They work with clients to understand their needs and translate those into design concepts that meet both form and function. The role involves space planning, selecting materials, furnishings, and overseeing the implementation of design plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, goals, and budget.

• Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval.

• Create floor plans, 3D visualizations, and mood boards.

• Select materials, furniture, colors, and décor elements.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to execute designs.

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)

• Excellent understanding of space planning and color theory.

• Good communication and client management skills.

• Attention to detail and creativity.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.

• Proven experience in interior design (2+ years preferred).
