Job Description

• Operate panel saw machines (manual or CNC-based) to cut boards as per cutting lists and job orders.

• Read and interpret cutting diagrams, technical drawings, and work orders.

• Ensure accurate measurements and clean cuts to minimize material wastage.

• Maintain proper alignment and calibration of the saw for optimal performance.

• Inspect raw boards before cutting for defects or damage.

• Label and organize cut panels according to job requirements.

• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while operating machinery.

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the machine to ensure smooth operation.

• Coordinate with the floor supervisor or production planner regarding daily cutting schedules.

• Maintain records of production output and report any machine issues immediately.
