Job Description

The Metal Supervisor oversees the daily operations of metal production, including managing staff, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards. This role involves coordinating metalworking processes, ensuring efficiency, and troubleshooting technical issues. The Metal Supervisor also monitors inventory, schedules production, and ensures compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the metalworking team.

• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Ensure safety protocols and company policies are adhered to.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns.

• Conduct training and ensure skill development of team members.

• Manage inventory and order necessary materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in metalworking or manufacturing.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Knowledge of metalworking tools and machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Safety certification (OSHA, etc.) is a plus.
