Job Description

We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our furniture manufacturing team. This role requires expertise in woodworking, furniture construction, and high-quality furniture assembly. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and have hands-on experience with woodworking tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure precision.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wooden furniture using both hand tools and power tools.
• Install hardware, including hinges, handles, locks, and other fittings to complete the final product.
• Ensure precise measurements and cuts to deliver high-quality craftsmanship in every piece.
• Sand, stain, and apply finishes to wooden furniture to achieve a polished and professional look.
• Regularly maintain tools and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with furniture designers and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Perform repairs and furniture touch-ups to maintain the integrity of finished pieces.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and keep the work area organized and clean.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in the furniture manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in carpentry is a plus.
