Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Beam Saw Operator to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate beam saw machines to cut wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials with precision. As a Beam Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cuts, reducing material waste, and maintaining high production standards for furniture manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate beam saw machines for cutting large sheets of wood and other materials, including MDF and plywood, for furniture production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, cutting lists, and work orders to determine cutting patterns and material requirements.
• Ensure accurate material alignment to achieve precise cuts and optimize material use.
• Monitor beam saw operations, making adjustments to settings as necessary to maintain optimal cutting efficiency.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality assurance, ensuring all parts meet dimensional specifications and are free from defects.
• Perform routine beam saw maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to ensure smooth operation.
• Follow all safety guidelines when operating machinery and handling materials.
• Keep work areas organized and clean, ensuring tools and equipment are safely stored.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Beam Saw Operator in the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of beam saw machine operation and setup procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and cutting specifications.
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality furniture components.
