We are looking for a skilled Edge Band Operator to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating edge banding machines to apply edge bands to various materials, such as wood, MDF, plywood, and laminate, used in furniture production. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a focus on ensuring high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate edge banding machines to apply edge bands (PVC, melamine, veneer, etc.) to materials like wood, MDF, and plywood used in furniture manufacturing.
• Select and prepare the appropriate edge materials based on specifications and project requirements.
• Adjust machine settings for optimal edge banding results, ensuring smooth application and proper adhesion.
• Inspect finished furniture pieces for quality assurance, ensuring perfect edge alignment, smoothness, and defect-free finishes.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of edge banding machines, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for continuous production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area, ensuring tools and materials are safely stored.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and ensure high-quality furniture manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Edge Band Operator in furniture production or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of edge banding techniques, machine setup, and material handling.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality furniture finishes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
