Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up Biesse edge banding machines to apply edge banding to wood, MDF, plywood, and other furniture materials.
• Ensure accurate alignment and smooth application of edge banding to furniture components.
• Monitor the machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the best results.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure the edge banding is applied correctly and meets design specifications.
• Maintain and clean Biesse machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Follow production schedules and collaborate with the team to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure the workplace adheres to safety protocols and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to edge banding machinery or materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Edge Band Operator, specifically with Biesse machinery.
• Strong knowledge of edge banding techniques and machine setup.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality furniture components.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with woodworking materials and manufacturing processes in the furniture industry.
