Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate cold press machines to laminate, bond, or press wood, MDF, and other materials in the furniture manufacturing process.
• Follow technical specifications and production schedules to ensure all parts are produced accurately and on time.
• Monitor press operations, adjusting pressure, time, and temperature settings to ensure optimal results.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the cold press machine to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure materials are available and equipment is functioning properly.
• Record and report on production output, material usage, and any issues encountered during the pressing process.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the cold press machinery as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cold Press Operator in furniture manufacturing or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of cold press machinery operations and lamination processes.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
