Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Biesse beam saws to cut wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials according to specifications for furniture manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cutting lists to ensure accurate cuts and material use.
• Monitor and adjust the beam saw machine settings to achieve precise cuts, optimizing production efficiency and material usage.
• Inspect the quality of finished cuts, ensuring they meet required dimensions and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the Biesse beam saw to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and production targets.
• Record production data, including machine settings, output, and material usage for accurate tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Beam Saw Operator with Biesse or similar beam saw machinery in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cutting processes, material types, and saw operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
