Key Responsibilities

• Craft and assemble wood structures and furniture pieces using manual carpentry tools like saws, chisels, hammers, and drills.
• Measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood according to detailed blueprints and specifications, ensuring accurate cuts and precise fit.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture with attention to alignment, finish, and function.
• Ensure high-quality woodwork by performing checks and adjustments to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborate with designers and team members to ensure timely project completion and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Follow safety protocols in handling tools and materials to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Inspect, repair, and modify existing wood structures and furniture as required.
• Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in good condition.
• Maintain knowledge of wood types, carpentry techniques, and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Manual Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and manual carpentry tools.
• Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, designs, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple carpentry projects.
• Good physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks.
• Knowledge of safety standards in carpentry work and woodworking safety practices.
