Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design unique, stylish, and functional furniture pieces including chairs, tables, sofas, and storage solutions using CAD software and hand sketches.
• Collaborate with clients, production teams, and sales departments to understand project requirements and develop designs that align with customer needs and specifications.
• Create technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and ensure accurate production.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to incorporate into new designs.
• Ensure designs are functional, ergonomic, and cost-effective while meeting quality standards.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from the production team and clients.
• Work closely with engineers and craftspeople to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
• Maintain design documentation, including material specifications, color schemes, and finishing options.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Furniture Designer in furniture manufacturing or a similar field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and 3D modeling.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design trends.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and meet deadlines.
