Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate HOMAG beam saws to cut and shape wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists to ensure accurate material processing and utilization.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed rates, and blade types to achieve precise cuts and optimize material use.
• Monitor the cutting process, ensuring that cuts meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the HOMAG beam saw to ensure its efficient operation and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to verify quality, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain an organized work area and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Record machine settings, production output, and material usage for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Beam Saw Operator with HOMAG beam saws or similar machinery in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of beam saw operations, cutting processes, and material handling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
