Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed furniture designs, 3D models, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
- Create prototypes and perform testing to validate functionality and durability.
- Optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing and material efficiency.
- Research and incorporate the latest trends, materials, and technologies in furniture design.
- Ensure all designs comply with quality and safety regulations.
- Address technical challenges in design and production processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Expertise in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes.
