Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate edge banding machines to apply edge tape to furniture panels.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to meet specifications.
- Set up and adjust machine parameters for accurate application and smooth edges.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring alignment and seamless finishes.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of edge banding equipment.
- Identify and resolve machine or material issues to maintain production flow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Edge Band Operator or in a similar role in the furniture industry.
- Familiarity with edge banding machines and woodworking tools.
- Ability to read technical specifications and ensure precise execution.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and equipment maintenance.
