Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Woodtech beam saws to cut wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials according to specifications for furniture production.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists to ensure accurate cuts and material usage.
• Adjust Woodtech beam saw machine settings to optimize cutting processes for different materials and production requirements.
• Monitor and adjust the cutting process to ensure precision, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Inspect finished cuts and pieces for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and required specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Woodtech beam saws to ensure the machine operates efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate production logs, documenting machine settings, material usage, and production output.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Beam Saw Operator with Woodtech beam saws or similar equipment in furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cutting processes, beam saw machine operations, and furniture production.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Experience in machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
