Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate hot press machines to bond and laminate wood, MDF, and other materials for furniture production.
• Monitor and adjust pressing conditions such as temperature, pressure, and time to ensure the optimal quality of materials.
• Inspect finished products to ensure that laminates and bonds meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hot press machines to ensure their efficient operation and reduce downtime.
• Follow technical instructions and production schedules to ensure materials are pressed according to deadlines.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine efficiency and material usage.
• Keep accurate records of machine settings, material usage, and production output.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the hot press machine and perform basic repairs when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Hot Press Machine Operator in furniture manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of hot press machinery, lamination processes, and material bonding.
• Ability to follow technical specifications, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Excellent troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
